Excellent take-away for quality & price, freshly cooked by caring owners ! In most areas, the quality of fried fish& chips is very poor, but I am very fussy ! This takeaway was so good with very large portions. Easy village parking just a few minutes drive from Westbury, but well worth it 👍

We visited as a family of 4 from Australia for the traditional Dilton Marsh Christmas experience. The Santa float was truly magical, though none of the scantily clad helpers of local legend. And the highlight was traditional Christmas pig racing in the Social Club. Our only minor gripe was that the orange pig was lame, but a really fantastic night out!

The Weavers received strong recommendations, which often come with inherent risks. However, I must emphasise that my experience with them was consistent with the positive feedback I had heard. The Weavers is a community pub known for its friendly atmosphere. Recently, I had the opportunity to enjoy their Sunday Lunch, which stands out as one of the best experiences I've had in Wiltshire. The food at this establishment is presented appealingly, with generous portion sizes. The flavours are outstanding, and the service is exemplary. As a result of this positive experience, there is a strong likelihood of returning; a return visit is planned for today.

Haven’t been for years thought we’d try it out, wished we hadn’t bothered. Sunday lunch was below average, Turkey was rubbery, veg was ok, all pretty cold. Considering it was roast dinner we had to waiting almost 40 minutes for it. Pudding was tasteless. I’ve had better at a Toby carvery. Service was poor will definitely not go back. Very sad used to be so good….

Recently moved to the village and popped in for lunch on a Wednesday lunchtime with my parents. It was a little quiet but granted it was mid week during the school holidays. Current owners making good progress on revamping the interior and gardens. Waited for food but that’s fine as it was cooked to order, fresh, well presented and tasted great. Quality ingredients with a nice thick egg with orange yolk on my ham and handmade chips more than made up for waiting. As a local I plan to return and hope this village pub continues to improve.

My husband and I went for a pub meal, I had fish and chips, my husband had a burger and chips. He enjoyed his meal, but mine wasn’t up to the usual standard. My piece of fish was very small ( the pub knocked 10% off the bill) and the chips were very dry. Maybe been cooked earlier and reheated. I did mention my disappointment to the waitress who passed comments on to the kitchen. The staff were friendly though.
